The Amber  is a 3" Wide brim women's sun protective hat with an adjustable chin strap (it also has an adjustable inner drawstring to size down, so if you are in-between sizes, get the size up and size down with the drawstring). Very flattering with a cute ribbon detail across the crown (ribbon comes black). The chinstrap gives you the freedom to be doing something where you are active or encountering wind. It's popular with gardeners, hikers, boaters, anyone that needs a little support and doesn't want to be dealing with their hat flying off in the wind. 

The brim is also a 3" brim, which provides moderate sun protection. If you are looking for something that provides more coverage for your shoulders but love the chinstrap feature, you can look into broader brim options such as the Outrigger and El Ranchero.
